Journey With Me

It is hard to determine what struck me at the first place when I saw “Four Plays of Christopher Marlowe.” I wasn’t even familiar to the plays or the playwright. Yet the lively illustration, the elegant layout, the intriguing cover and the thought-provoking monthly letter were irresistible to me. Like Marlowe paved the path for Shakespeare to the epitome in Elizabethan plays, this book leads me to explore the history of Limited Editions Club (LEC), the Heritage Press (HP) and the collecting of rare books. I’d like to share my discovery about the production of the book and current market of LEC and HP books.

Beware, beware, once you step foot upon the realm of these exquisite books, you might find no way to return. The more you know about the books, the more you appreciate them. Join me on this journey of book hunting and knowledge seeking!
