Equity, Diversion & Inclusion
At the Gibson Lab we commit to maintaining an environment of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) by ensuring all members feel respected, valued and comfortable to voice their own opinions. We continually make efforts to support scientists that face systemic biases and barriers in STEM. We believe that working with people from different experiences, cultures, and educational backgrounds is an invaluable asset in both scientific research and the personal growth of each lab member. Additionally, we require all lab members to complete EDI Training provided by UBCO.
