Movable Type was upgraded over the holidays, and now supports the use of tags. So feel free to put posts in categories, and try out the tag option as well. More information here.
But… I still can’t figure out how to make the tags display!
On the downside, the upgrade seems to have lost the posted by ‘name’.
Cheers, Ellen

Hmmm. I can’t find anything in the Movable Type 3.3 documentation about the disappearing author name display, so I’m assuming it’s just a glitch, not a permanent loss. The code is still there in the index file. I’ve emailed the weblog support folks to take a look – hopefully they can revive this useful feature for us!
Thanks to Frank at the Office of Learning Technologies, the glitch has now been fixed and author names are now displaying. Thanks, Frank!
