Most of the research that I’ve encountered to date have addressed my inquiry question from the perspective of what teachers as individuals can do to practice and model respect in the classroom. It’s useful to know what individuals can do, but how can the notion of respect extend beyond the classroom and be reflected in the greater school community too? How can schools foster and maintain culture of respect amongst their staff and student community?
