During my extended practicum (February – April 2016), I was warmly hosted and supported at R.A McMath Secondary in Richmond by school advisors, Ms. Baren Tsui and Mr. David Track, both English and Social Studies teachers. Throughout this experience, I was so greatly supported and guided by my UBC faculty advisor, Ms. Ann Hayes. I consider myself one of the luckier ones, with an all-star team who genuinely took such good care of me, sharing their experiences and knowledge, encouraging me always, asking the hard questions, challenging me where I would falter, and being there to celebrate successes.
