I.House Christmas Dinner is looking for volunteers!

Hi IPPers, I.House Christmas Dinner is looking for volunteer!

They are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to get involved with preparations for an annual Christmas dinner being held for UBC International students and their families!

This year’s event takes place on Thursday, December 15th from 5 – 7pm at International House, and is organized by the UBC Chaplains in collaboration with International Student Development and Student Housing.

The UBC Christmas Dinner is an opportunity for students to learn what Christmas in Canada is all about by enjoying a traditional turkey meal, carol-singing, and of course, a Christmas tree complete with Santa and presents!

They are currently recruiting volunteers to make this event a fun and memorable experience for approximately 140 attendees.

To get involved, please email Melanie Crudgington (melanie.crudgington@ubc.ca) with the following information: your name, contact information (email and telephone number), and shift(s) you wish to cover. Volunteers who sign-up for two shifts are invited to also attend the Christmas Dinner.  Feel free to sign-up for one, two or three shifts and remember, your commitment does make a difference…
