UBC English Language Institute is Now Hiring Cultural Assistants!

The UBC English Language Institute (UBC-ELI) boasts state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified instructors, a team of committed administrative staff and a team of enthusiastic Cultural Assistants.  The UBC-ELI offers short -term and long-term ESL programs to international and national students on a year-round basis. Cultural Assistants (CAs) act as role models and as ambassadors of UBC and Vancouver to UBC-ELI students. CAs encourage participation in social activities by actively engaging and connecting with students. CAs facilitate communication and interaction among group members, assist students in and out of class, and troubleshoot as necessary. In addition, CAs are responsible for event planning/marketing with guidance from super visors and for ensuring that students have a safe and fun time during their stay.

Pay Rate: $12.95 per hour

Hours per week: 15-30 hours per week (Flexible)
