Assessment

I was very stressed creating this LMS quiz, simply because I want it to be exactly as expected.  Moodle has many platform challenges and I am a very visual learner so I find it hard to navigate as it isn’t very aesthetically appealing.  However, I did find my way through the questions and feel as though I completed the assignment as required.  The biggest challenge was coming up with questions that were relevant as well as useful.  I wanted my students to be able to self reflect and really think about what the purpose of these apps or devices are and why they are valuable and useful.

The majority of my research came from Apple, as they clearly know iPads.  They have many useful links dedicated to teachers, students and how to use iPads in the classroom.  I also asked my staff what they would like to see their students learn about iPads and took their feedback to create my quiz.  I tried to keep my quiz open enough that it could be geared for students, or it could be fore novice learners in general.

Overall, the hardest part was being creative and thinking about what people might learn from my moodle site and transferring that into an assessment as well as the technological components of Moodle.  I think as a whole I was successful in achieving my goals.

Not sure if this will work without a login, but here is a link to my Moodle LMS quiz!
