Research Rescue is back (and better than ever)

Are you interested in reference and information services?

Would you like to get some training and practical experience working with students in an academic library setting?

Research Rescue volunteers are SLAIS students who provide assistance to UBC students in the planning and research stages of course assignments. This peer-to-peer learning model gives UBC students the opportunity to improve their information literacy skills and their familiarity with library resources. In turn, the model provides SLAIS students the opportunity to develop skills in providing information services and instruction in an academic setting.

Research Rescue is looking for volunteers for the 2010 January-April semester!

Information session for ALL volunteers (new and returning)
When: Jan. 12, 11:30-12:30
Where: Terrace Lab
