Podcast Lectures
The below podcast lectures and accompanying transcripts were created for LAST303: Latin American Indigenous Foodways. For our course, LAST315, I suggest that you listen to the Unit 1 lecture on Foodways and the Unit 5 lecture on Maya culture in the first two weeks of the semester. The material will NOT be on the exams, but it will help set the stage for and contextualize our discussions.
Each podcast seeks to respectfully incorporate Latin American Indigenous music and include pertinent images, videos, and other media. There are two interviews to mix up podcast content. The objective of podcast lectures is to give students a chance to listen to lectures away from their computers, as well as to complement visual content with aural input.
