Orientations 2015

Remember your first year at UBC and want to help create an awesome first year experience for prospective new students?

UBC orientation programs, Imagine Day and Jumpstart, serve as new students’ formal welcome to UBC and are looking for excellent volunteers to become Orientation leaders for 2015.

As an Orientation Leader, you’ll build campus community and welcome new students by:

  • Building and supporting an engaged community of new-to-UBC students.
  • Facilitating delivery of Imagine Day or the Jump Start two-week immersion program.
  • Assisting with the delivery of the transition program. Engage in personal and professional skill development.
  • Role-modelling outstanding student leadership on campus

International Welcome Orientation Leader – February 1st
Jumpstart 2015 – Applications will open on January 12th

Peer Programs 2015

Peer Programs is a network of student teams that strive to improve the UBC student experience with programs that encompass academics, careers and personal development. These programs allow students to build their own skills and experience through training and program implementation while being supported by UBC staff.
