Ludmila Andréa is a fourth year majoring in political science and minoring in critical studies in sexuality at the University of British Columbia. Her interests include 20th century literature, feminist theory, international humanitarian law, and philosophy. She has come to call herself a Vancouverite despite also having spent half of her life in Seattle, Washington. However, she thinks of herself as a citizen of the world and spent the last year in Barcelona, Spain. She speaks Spanish and English fluently, has a good grasp of French, a mediocre grasp on Catalan and German, and is currently also teaching herself some Japanese on the side. When she graduates she plans to work and volunteer abroad and eventually pursue a career in journalism with a focus on international affairs and human rights.
