PhD Candidate

Manav joined the lab as an MASc student in 2012 and continued as a PhD student starting 2014. He is studying mechanics of polymer brush based soft active materials. His MASc work was devoted towards the study of eigenvalue veering and energy localization in mechanical systems and its application in MEMS based sensing (thesis). He received Bachelor of Technology degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur (India).
