Explaining: The Next Step

Now that you have completed your activities, it is time to create your glog.*

Click on the link: http://edu.glogster.com/

Login with your account (see teacher for account information if this is your first glog.)

Report back on what you observed in each of the activities.  Now is your time to shine!

You may use:

• books from the library to research the properties of light you observed in each activity

• science resources in the classroom

• internet sources.  A place to start might be:

  • www.usborne-quicklinks.com.  Enter the words “science light” The page numbers to check are: page 9, page 11, page 21, page 23, page 25, page 27

Use your internet research skills to see what else you might find.  Remember to check to see how reliable your site is!

Make sure you include pictures you have taken!

You may upload YouTube clips that help to explain what you observed!

Remember to record your sources in a bibliography on your glog!

You and your partner will report back next class and we will discuss similarities and differences that you observed, share your findings, and draw some conclusions.

Evaluation for your glog will be as follows:
