The obvious suggestion is to do a quick google scholar search and I think you will find some references that may be useful. Grounded theory is no restricted to any particular focus and indeed has applicability in pretty much any research context. So, if you were interested in building theory from research on arts based practices sure grounded theory is an appropriate methodology.
