Hybrid Events

Hybrid Events blend in-person teaching with online participants or guest lecturers via Zoom. These events can be hosted in any classroom with a technician on hand to:

  • Operate the media system and manage slides, Zoom, and cameras
  • Adjust views for online students (slides, room view, document camera, etc.)
  • Join the Zoom call for you, so you can focus on teaching

For a smooth experience:

  • Share your Zoom link and event details in advance
  • Request any extra microphones or loaner laptops when booking
  • Send lecture materials ahead of time for testing
  • If using your own laptop, we recommend a quick compatibility check before the session

This setup is flexible, allowing different layouts and views to create an engaging experience for both in-person and online learners.
