Video Assessment

Sauder Learning Services can help you arrange and record video-based assessments such as COMM 292 debates and COMM 196 student presentations.

COMM 292 Debates

Our staff will set up and run all recording equipment, including microphone, camera, and laptop. The technician will stay for the full session to ensure everything is captured. Please confirm the debate number and starting group (affirmative or opposition) before beginning. Recordings are available immediately in the SXRS folder on Panopto.

COMM 196 Student Presentations

Rooms 491A–C and 492A–C will be pre-set with recording equipment and a monitor for slides. Staff will manage recordings, check audio/video quality, and note any issues or retake needs. Attendance and QA reports will be shared with you after the session. Recordings appear instantly on Canvas, and make-up sessions are available later in the term if needed.
