Hello Everyone! I am a fellow Secondary TC in the Health and Outdoor Physical Education (H.O.P.E.) & Home Economics Cohort. I was born in Richmond, B.C. The reason why I wanted to become an educator is because my experience through high school wasn’t the best, but it was all the memorable teachers that continued to provide me with opportunities and support; they helped me get to where I am now. Currently, I work closely with elementary-aged students within the Richmond School District 38 as a learning center supervisor. Aside from that, I also coach high school and club female sports. You will most likely find me…at the Richmond Olympic Oval playing in basketball leagues… 3 times a week…or… out at the UBC Fields playing soccer…or at the beach playing some volleyball! I cannot forget to mention how I enjoy exploring new restaurants with my friends! Food is essential.

Hello Everyone! I am currently in the Health and Outdoor Physical Education (H.O.P.E.) Cohort at UBC. I was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. Throughout my childhood, sports has always been an integral part of my life. I have had amazing mentors and coaches that have shown me that working hard at both sports and education opens many doors. Currently, I work as an independent personal trainer because fitness is a pillar in my life. This continued passion has inspired me to become an educator that promotes physical literacy and Iife-long participation in physical activity. I have experience with being a high school basketball coach, as well as a strength and conditioning coach for UBC Varsity athletes. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by hitting the weights, shredding powder on the slopes, or hiking our beautiful B.C. mountains.
