My research looks at using biomaterials for drug delivery to differentiate
stem cells. The primary goal is to produce different neuronal subtypes
with a drug delivery system and design the system to function in vivo.
This research supports the innovation of new methods of tissue engineering
for cell replacement therapies to treat diseases such as ALS and
Parkinson’s disease.
