Creating great photographs starts with learning and using the visual language of composition. Learning about photographic composition will help you answer the following questions common among photographers. What am I trying to communicate with my photo? How should I compose my photo? Is this photo effective?
This online lesson will introduce you to the essential terms used to discuss composition. It will also provide you with an opportunity to evaluate a photographs effective use of composition guidelines and it will provide opportunities to practice using your new skills and engage with classmates while you learn.
