#036: Lomography film update

December 29th, 2008 by Mary Leong

Currently listening to: “Edge of Seventeen” – Stevie Nicks

So I managed to find some Kodak Elitechrome film at London Drugs – two rolls for $26.
I shall have to be a lot more prudent with my film now, seeing how they are a lot less flexible with their film pricing than my local camera store.

Nevertheless, I am excited to go out shooting soon!

    I feel so defeated with my point-n’-click, saltwater-damaged digital…

(though I do remember the nostalgic days of playing with pin-hole cameras and making my own prints.. ahh)

I positioned my camera almost right above the beach and took a few photos of waves approaching before quickly getting it out of harm’s way — or so I’d planned.

Tiny wave + split second contact + camera = :(

Ouch. That be some expensive film. Have fun taking photos!
