The UBC Wiki opened to the public in July 2009 and currently has 6,680 total pages, 2,209 uploaded files, and 1,604 active users. In total, the UBC Wiki has been viewed 1,750,886 times. The UBC Wiki serves as a course repository, a personal and collaborative work space, a documentation depository, and a growing guide to everything and anything UBC. The information, resources, and links that it contains are created, expanded, and annotated by its users. It is constantly evolving and changing because every member can add to it and edit any page.
