Hello everyone. My name is Alison, I am a fourth-year student studying International Economics in UBC. I am interested in macroeconomic trends and cost-and-benefit analysis. Recently, I have been exploring areas in digital marketing and e-commerce to apply my empirical knowledge of statistical data analysis and branding strategies.

Economics is a really challenging field. It requires mathematical skills as well as critical and logical thinking techniques. Trust me, it is way harder than you think! I am interested in this field to learn more about customer behaviour and global market analysis, including the international division of labour and trade.

As of my career, I know that my degree at UBC will direct me to a lot of different potential careers. I am looking for opportunities to gain more hands-on experience and seek advancement in areas that I am interested in. No matter which position I will spend most of my time in, I hope to bring a small difference to the society I am living in.
