Workshop Overview:
Day 1 (October 23) will introduce key concepts in cross-cultural research, such as “equivalence” and “bias.” Participants will learn about cognitive interviewing and other methods for pretesting and evaluating questionnaire items across diverse languages and cultures.
Day 2 (October 24) will focus on the best practices for translating and assessing questionnaires, identifying potential sources of error, and ensuring high data quality. There will also be opportunities to discuss participants’ individual research projects and challenges.
This workshop is ideal for anyone engaged in cross-cultural or multilingual research, providing practical, interactive insights that can be applied directly to your work.
