Insights from a decade of applied behavioural science in the public sector: A conversation
Christine Yip & Julian House
Ontario Behavioural Insights Unit
Over the past decade, the Behavioural Insights Unit has gathered important insights about what it takes to cultivate opportunities, navigate constraints to deliver actionable solutions using high quality evidence, and catalyze meaningful change within a large, public-sector institution. Join the team’s senior manager, Christine Yip, and longest tenured behavioural scientist, Julian House, as they reflect on the unit’s 10-year journey, key learnings, and what lies ahead.
The UBC-DIBS Behavioural Insights Seminar series features researchers and practitioners sharing their field and lab projects using the behavioural and decision sciences to “nudge for good”. Recordings of past seminars are available on the BI wiki here. To subscribe or unsubscribe, email dibs@sauder.ubc.ca.
