The UN Behavioural Science Group is hosting the 7th annual UN BeSci week. More from them:
We are excited to announce that the 7th annual UN Behavioural Science (BeSci) Week will take place from 7–11 April 2025!
Coordinated by the UN Behavioural Science Group, this flagship event will feature 15 virtual sessions co-hosted with 46 UN Entities, open to all and free of charge. Sessions will explore key themes at the intersection of behavioural science and artificial intelligence, the integration of BeSci into UN programming, the role of evidence in decision-making, and practical applications in health, resilience, urban settings, and more.
We are pleased to welcome high-level speakers including the Amandeep Singh Gill (Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies), Kamal Kishore (Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction), Professor Susan Athey (Stanford University), among others.
As in previous years, UN BeSci Week aims to build awareness, foster collaboration, and scale the use of behavioural science across the UN and beyond. Many of the barriers to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are behavioural in nature – and BeSci offers practical tools to design more effective, people-centred interventions.
