From Grenoble IAE’s Marketing au Service de la Société (M2S) research chair:
We are organizing an international workshop from 11:30 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025 to 7:45 AM Pacific on Monday, April 14, 2025, at MSH Alpes (Grenoble) and via videoconference on the theme:
“BEHAVIORAL INFLUENCE AND RESISTANCE TO INFLUENCE: Encouraging More Responsible Behaviors While Avoiding Reactance.”
The event will bring together international researchers, including:
- Sanchayan Banerjee (King’s College London)
- Peter John (King’s College London)
- Ralph Hertwig (Max Planck Institute, Berlin)
- Till Grüne-Yanoff (KTH Stockholm)
- Sharyn Rundle-Thiele (Griffith University, Australia)
Additionally, we will welcome a practitioner:
- Dr. Etienne Bressoud (BVA Nudge Consulting)
As well as researchers from UGA:
- Agnès Helme-Guizon, Cindy Caldara, Marie-Claire Wilhelm, Marie-Laure Gavard-Perret
And two PhD candidates:
- Clément Carrel and Gwladys Berenguel.
The workshop will feature presentations of research findings on nudges, nudges+, boosts, and more broadly, behavioral interventions aimed at fostering more responsible behaviors.
At the end of the day, a roundtable discussion will address a major challenge in behavioral interventions: Resistance to Influence.
