Nudging Education Success: Behavioural Insights from Tutoring to AI-Assisted Learning
Philip Oreopoulos, University of Toronto
Personalized tutoring has demonstrated significant benefits, yet traditional education systems struggle to widely adopt individualized instruction because of high costs and scalability constraints.
In this webinar, Professor Oreopoulos will present his recent work that integrates technology into education interventions designed to scale personalized tutoring experiences. The discussion will examine the established effectiveness of traditional one-on-one tutoring, the evolution towards computer-assisted learning (CAL), and will conclude by examining artificial intelligence as an innovative approach to delivering personalized education at scale.
Special attention will be given to behavioural design features that ensure successful program implementation, uptake, and fidelity.
