Join us on Friday, November 7, 2025, as our annual BIG Difference BC conference explores how researchers and practitioners are using behavioural science to change behaviour in complex systems.
Do you have a BI project to share?
We invite submissions for lightning talks and micro-presentations:
- Recent projects that use behavioural science to change behaviour within complex systems are particularly welcome, given this year’s conference theme.
- Recent projects that use BI more broadly to encourage positive behaviour change are also welcome.
- A variety of presenters are encouraged. We welcome submissions from across government, academia, and the public, non-profit, and private sectors in BC, across Canada, and beyond. We will review multiple submissions from large organizations, provided that they represent distinct projects from different individuals or units.
Details
- Lightning Talks: Lightning talk presenters have a maximum of 15 minutes to present and 5 minutes to take questions. For examples, please see previous lightning talks.
- Micro-Presentations: Using breakout rooms, presenters have a maximum of 5 minutes to present and 5 minutes to take questions. Accepted presentation formats include a single poster-style slide, 2-3 slides, or another format that will work on Zoom. For examples, please see previous micro-presentations.
