In this assignment, I attempt to explain a rather complex term, “Tardive Dyskinesia” in the form of a parenthetical, sentence, and expanded definition. It is important, in technical communications, to be able to break down complex terms in a form that is understandable from a layman’s perspective.

Formal Report Proposal
This document is a proposal for my formal report. I begin by providing background information about the situation, and proceed through a description of the methods and scope of inquiry for my report. Proposals are used to describe one’s intent to pursue a new project or research an answer to a question. Knowing how to generate an effective proposal is an important skill in the real world that is applicable to a wide variety of situations.

Letter of Complaint
The letter of complaint is a demonstration of how to tactfully communicate, and respond to a complaint. I simulate a situation where a patient believes that they have received the wrong medication, but in reality, they received the correct medication, just with a difference appearance. This situation was inspired from my experiences working in a pharmacy. When I respond as the manager, I try to maintain an objective tone that does not directly blame the patient for their invalid complaint.

Peer Review – Ian’s Formal Report Draft
This is one of my better peer reviews as it was the most complex review that I have done, while also maintaining quality and appropriate tone. I have tried to demonstrate “YOU” attitude while writing this review, and I think I provide a good balance of praise and constructive feedback.
