The wonderful Folks at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology at UBC invited me to talk about social learning support, journaling and the benefits of adding voice mail messages and verbal feedback on assignments to the online “classroom.”  Instructors and learners frequently communicate in a text only forums. The addition of the voice tools has made a great improvement in my ability to connect with and inspire students to meet my learning objectives.
