What we do in our business:
Imagine if one day your old oven started texting you when you left it on. Since the invention of electricity, we’ve controlled our homes the same way by turning switches on and off a hundred times a day. This is about to change, thanks to new advancements in Artificial Intelligence and the advent of Internet of Things. I am the co-founder and CTO of Neurio, a game changing technology that uses a single device to bring Artificial Intelligence to every existing appliance in your home.

Why this particular business?
Neurio changes the way we interact with our homes, making them safer, more efficient, and more convenient. I consider this a once in a life time opportunity to impact many lives and help create a more sustainable society.

Biggest day-to-day challenges as an entrepreneur:
Nothing that can’t be overcome.

Greatest delights in being an entrepreneur:
Watching your ideas come to life, and working with incredibly smart people.

Four Key pieces of advice you would give to future entrepreneurs:
1. Solve big problems to make a difference.
2. Validate your ideas early and often.
3. Leave your ego at the door.
4. Be persistent: the opposite of success is not failure, it’s quitting.

Where do you see yourself going as an entrepreneur in the future?

I like big hairy audacious problems and big hair audacious goals. Big data and artificial intelligence will help us measure and improve every aspect of our society, and I like to be a part of this effort.
