Mapping economic impact and at risk population in response to Covid-19

Welcome to our project! This is our final project for GEOB 479 Research in Geographic Information Science at the University of British Columbia. Our study topic will be exploring the impact of the COVID-19 in Vancouver, BC. As an addition, our project focuses on two elements in regards to mapping the impacts in Vancouver. Those are:

  1. We will be mapping the at-risk population to identify areas with higher levels of at-risk groups
  2. We will be mapping the severity of economically-impacted population and business across Vancouver using MCE
  3. We will be looking at the economic risks of industries in different areas across Vancouver by using location quotient

(It will include an introduction, data, methodology, results & discussion)
