I chose to do a weblog which seemed fitting as my topic was all about the English language and how it has changed, and the influence that technology has had on this change. I have always been fascinated by words and where they come from so with the dramatic changes we are seeing with the use of certain technologies, this assignment gave me the opportunity to look into this in greater detail.
I’m not sure if this is the same with other weblog/website creators, but wordpress is definitely not very user friendly with its formatting. I tried adding more white space but the software just didn’t allow this. Sorry if it looks so dense.

Hi Susan,
I liked your summary of how language is changing because of the influence of digital technology. There was a lot of information and it was beautifully presented. I also enjoyed the cartoon on home page, I thought it was a good image to sum up the progression of text.
