The medium of online publication and digital literature in the role of literature and story is very unique. Like Dr. Paterson suggests, I (tentatively) believe that the “reader on the www is also a listener and a writer and the reader is also a listener” (Paterson 1:2). The internet allows a discourse (much like this course) that is unavailable in either literature or orality.
