1996-2000: The Development and Evaluation of a Model of Community Participation in Health Decision Making

The purpose of the study was to explore the experiences of citizen participants on Regional Health Boards and Community Health Councils established under the BC government initiative New Directions, and to identify the challenges and rewards of participation.
