♦What did I do during my internship?
• Providing customers with a fun, awesome, memorable, “out of home”experience and friendly, responsive service.
• Positively influencing attitudes towards science, technology, and creative thinking by performing gallery, explaining exhibits.
• Assisting with overnight Camp-In programs and activities twice.
• Assisting with school group entry and direction.
• Facilitating customer entry to the OMNIMAX theatre.
Actually, there were no hard skills to work at science world, because here is for customers. Providing our customers with fun or helping them is my resposibility. Although I cannot speak English well, I tried to do my best for customers every moment. When I started working at first, I was really nervous, but I became enjoy everything and it was really fun as time goes by!
Also, I made a lot of new friends, so I ate lunch together every day, added them on facebook, like doing that, I spoke English a lot and learned some expression which they usually use. I could speak a lot of staffs and they helped me when I asked something or approached me first and talked to me friendly.
The experience itself will be helpful in the future and I think improve my English skills, confidence and enthusiasm. It was pleasure working with nice staffs, volunteers and guests. I can never forget everything I experienced at S.W.!!!!!!!!♥
