Actually, I started volunteer work thanks to my mother.
My mother volunteered three times a week at Yeongsin Orphanage, so I always saw her activities and I found she is very happy from the work.

When I was 14years old, I went there with my mother.
There are a lot of children there and they’re grateful for just being with me.
Actually, I have volunteered there for 10years, and my mother also support them financially every month.
I read stories to children and teaching them a dance routine or I give them bath.
Sometimes, I do the cooking for them like curry&fried rice and also bake them some cookies.
Whenever I play with them, they always say to me “Thank you” with smiling.
However, it is my pleasure and I learn a lot of things from them.
I developed empathy for those less fortunate and learned to appreciate everything what I have.

This experience made me grow up and be thoughtful!
I will continue to volunteer work & I want they to smile and be happy from me.
