In Science World

Something I have learned in Science World!

“What Should I do” or “What can I do”  in Science World?

Actually, when I work here first day, I was really nervous about everything, because I have never experienced work in Korea. However I adapted to my work environment little by little, and enjoy my work now*^^*

What I have learned in Science World?

♦ I work here every parts rotating every hour.♦

sometimes I usher customers the way or direction and I stamp for school group entry in front of entrance

I also give a fun for kids with Plasma which is like toy car and show trick using card or cup&ball for customers.

FACE-PAINT for young children in KID’s space.

I show and tell customers  how to make T-shirt BAG for protection of environment in OUR WORLD space.

When I work here, I learned service mind and I should treat customers like family. If I don’t have that mind, customers cannot be happy.

Also smiling and kindness are very important in service industries, and I am really happy when customers satisfy and say “Thank you”

Sometimes it happen emergency situation that some kids get hurt or lost their adults and teacher here. However I should solve the problem calmly.

What I accomplished so far?

Actually, I have a very good relationship with many staffs and volunteers.

I became a friend with them and eat lunch together. I talk a lot with them anything whenever we have a break time , so I can improve my English skills. I already became a FACEBOOK friend with them and we also communicate through the message. Sometimes some people are interested in Korean culture or K-POP, so I talk about that and also share their culture.

I worked here for 3weeks, and I have never been late so far. I always arrive at work place 30minutes ago and prepare to work. Before starting internship, I promised myself not to be late to show co-workers my sincerity. I am doing that  very well so far.

I always smile brightly every day, every moment, so I am praised from co-workers.  They say to me “You are always smile” or “You look so happy”, whenever I heard that, I’m really delighted.

Actually, there are no hard skills in science world like professional computer skills. I just treat customers respectful with smile, show them what they want kindly, and do everything sincerely. They look like very easy because they are not hard skills. However I think this is more difficult because I should face customers everyday, so I have to think and understand their feeling or behavior.

I really like kids and enjoy my work in here, so I think when I finish my internship, I can accomplish  more than now!
