We often have undergraduate students working in the lab too. And we feel that they deserve recognition!
Chelsea Jang joined the lab as a volunteer in March 2021. Currently, she is assisting with the syntactic bootstrapping project and previously assisted with the literacy project and why project.
Samantha Senghera joined the lab as a volunteer in January 2022. Currently, she is assisting with coding what-questions for the why project.

My name is Nada Iqbal and I’m a recent graduate from the Linguistics program from York University. During my University career, some of the courses I took that I showed the most interest in were Phonetics, First and Second Language Acquisition, Psycholinguistics, Developmental Psychology and Bilingualism to name a few, with my preferred research interests would be in Language Acquisition or Speech Sciences.
I wanted to inquire about any research/ work opportunities that are currently open at the Language and Learning Lab.
