There is an excellent article describing how to get the most out of EISIL at http://www.llrx.com/features/eisil.htm. EISIL’s “More information” links provide correct legal citations for international materials. EISIL may also be used for Cite Checking, as well as a source of ideas for further research.

The UBC Library has a trial of the Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective. This index is a bibliographic database that cumulates citations from print editions of Index to Legal Periodicals published between 1918-1981.
Periodical coverage includes law reviews, bar association journals, university publications, yearbooks, institutes, and government publications. Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective covers all areas of jurisprudence, including court decisions, legislation, and original scholarship.
