Accessing Electronic Readings

by Doug Harris ~ September 10th, 2011. Filed under: course info.

In order to access the electronic readings in the syllabus, you need to have a licence for the relevant databases. As UBC students, you have a licence through the UBC Library system, but in order to access the readings the databases need to know that you are a UBC students.

As a result, you can access the readings from a terminal in one of the libraries, or if you are on campus and logged in through UBC’s WiFi then you will be fine. If you are at home, then you need to access the internet through UBC’s Virtual Private Network (VPN). The set up is simple. All you need is your CWL and then click through SetUp Documents.
