National Collegiate Research Conference – Jan 2016 (travel grant available – due Nov 1, 2015)

As part of URO’s commitment to making undergraduate research available to everyone, URO is offering travel grants of up to $500 to cover costs associated with attending NCRC, including travel, registration, and accommodation. Applicants must be URO members – please contact an executive to obtain a membership if you have not done so already. Please note that this is not an application to NCRC itself, and that all applicants are required to complete an application to NCRC and submit a screenshot of the completed NCRC application on the final page of this form. Students will be reimbursed upon submission of receipts as well as proof of attendance.

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities (URO) Club through the AMS has instituted a travel grant for undergraduate students to present at the National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC), taking place this coming January. The NCRC is an annual multidisciplinary conference held at Harvard University, and attracts North America’s brightest undergraduate researchers from across all disciplines.

Our Travel Grant will reimburse students for the full cost of travel, registration, and accommodation. Students may apply at http://www.uroubc.ca/ncrc-travel-grant-application/, and the application deadline is November 1, 2015. For more information about the Conference itself, please visit their website at  http://campus.hcura.org/ncrc/.
