Subject: English 301: A request to join your writing team
Dear Esteban,
I have read the application letter posted on your blog, and I am writing to inquire about forming and/or joining a writing team with you. In the event that you have already formed your own writing team, I hope that there might be a space available for me.
I believe that I would be a good fit on your writing team because of your particular learning style. I too believe that a ‘trial and error’ approach to learning can be beneficial. For example, we could improve our writing by offering feedback to one other and use it to revise our first drafts until we reach a final product that we are satisfied with.
