Especially as an elective, it is important advocate for the subject we teach. Being involved in my PSA would lend me a voice and learn more about the association. It is also a space where I can continue to network with teachers around the province and better my practice.

Personal Growth

1. Be more confident.

Confidence is something I have always struggled with. Being more assertive in my actions would help be build relationships and connections that will help be a better educator.

2. Go travelling

Having gone from school to school to school, travelling is something I am very keen on doing. I think travelling allows someone to find out more about themselves and helps them gain a wider perspective, which I think would be great to bring back into the classroom. This could also help with goal number 2, learning what I am capable of.
