The group members are split into two groups that focus on different tasks: poster and report. Even though we help each other with everything, the focus is set and we will perform quite efficiently.

After our meeting with Hilary, a document with the explanation of MODO’s colour usage was supposed to be sent to us. We received it a little late – after our initial poster design – and had to rework the poster a little bit. This is the only set back so far.

For the poster, our team decided to include much eye-appealing graphics that are accompanied by intriguing MODO statistics. There will also be relevant information on comparison between MODO and its competitions, and provide different means of car usage for consumer’s different needs.

Our group did not deviate from our original plan. After our meeting with Hilary, we progressed quite quickly the way we wished to.

We project the report to be done in a week and the poster is already complete, just waiting for a few more reviews from our members. The main constraint regarding the project is we sometimes do not have enough info, and because our correspondent at MODO is quite busy, the lag between us creates intermittent communication barriers.

After everything that we have done so far, we are now in the stage where our objective is to write a full and professional report.

Thinking ahead

Hey All

After our useful meeting with our client, now it is time to wrap up the best info graph. So lets have a meeting this week and let me see what you have made up to know. Don`t let the time goes and do not do the job when you are in hurry in the last days!

Maybe one of you can make a doodle and add me in it so we can see your info graph  and talk about it more. I would be more than happy to see that you are successful in your project my friends. Lets finish it together !

Cheers

Hamid

Good news! We’ve had our first meeting with Hilary from Modo The Car Co-op on Thursday, February 28th.

The meeting was really pleasant. Hilary told us everything about Modo; from its background to the perks of using Modo. Through listening and asking questions, we were able to have deeper understanding of what car co-op is and its benefits.

At the end of the meeting, we asked Hilary what she expects from us. She told us to create an infographic that will ultimately bring interests of Vancouver residents.

To create the infographic, we will need two main tasks to be done. Firstly, we think the best way to bring interests of the residents is to provide benefits of sharing cars instead of owning one. Therefore, we want to research furthermore the perks of using the car co-op system. Secondly, we want to present the benefits in clear and precise manner: since the space is limited, we will have to present the best benefits first.

Currently, we do not know who is going to do which task. However, we are planning to have a group meeting soon to decide on this matter.

Because we now have clear understanding of what we are required to do, we believe that we will be successful on this project.
