Why the paper bag? Though humble and, some might say, homely, the paper bag has the power to hide treasures, build anticipation, and peak our curiosity. At the Paper Bag Academy, I wondered what learning experiences we could build if we started with learners’ burning questions, applied proven evidence-based teaching methods, and offered each day’s activities — and a snack — served in a lunch-sized paper bag.
True, we are all sequestered at home during this COVID-19 pandemic and can’t go to school or University to learn. We can, however keep curious, be creative, stay fit — and have fun while we learn.
