This site has a video series called La Francomobile where a family is traveling in “the Francomobile” and discuss topics like “food,” “clothing,” and “feelings.”
Pros:
- Exposure to various common topics spoken fluently.
- The children in the videos are similar ages to our intermediate students.
- The videos are short, and incorporate a lot of expression, common language, and actions to supplement the understanding.
Cons:
- They speak fluently – so unless the teacher is facilitating the video by pausing and discussing what is happening, it may be challenging for beginner French learners to follow the conversations.
