Google Tour Creator is an interactive mapping tool which teachers can use to create an engaging and contextual experiences for students.  Using 360 degree photographs taken by Google, this application allows teachers to create a virtual tour pertaining to whatever subject they are teaching.  In addition to creating a virtual tour, this application allows creators to mark points of interest along the path.  The website also contains a number of templates that can be used with minimal adaptations.  For example, click HERE for an interactive tour of the solar system created and adapted from one of the aforementioned templates.  This is a free resource that is valuable to teachers because there are endless educational opportunities.
