Applied Design, Skills and Technology (ADST) aligns well with the core competencies of the BC curriculum. This blog post by the Burnaby school district #41 suggests centers as a means for incorporating and exploring ADST. Using centers promotes student engagement and allows for multiple entry points. This post is useful to gain insight on many different ADST technologies that are available. Many listed can be purchased, however it would be important to check with your local school district to see if these resources are available for use. Furthermore, gaining an understanding of how the technologies work and researching on how to teach them would be required.
